Property Tax – Fawn Grove Borough

Real estate taxes are based on the current assessed value of your property multiplied by the current millage rate.

The Borough’s millage rate for 2023 is 2.0000ML

For example, if the assessed value of your property is $185,000, your annual Borough real estate taxes would be $370.00. The millage rate is determined by the Borough Council and adopted by Ordinance as part of the Borough’s budget by December 31st of each year. Your tax dollars help support, public works department services, parks/recreation, and general operating expenses.

Fawn Grove Borough real estate tax bills were mailed on February 15, 2023.  If you do not receive your bill by March 1st, please call the York County Treasurers office.  A 2% discount is offered from February 15th through April 17th; with the Face Value payment period from April 18th to June 16th; and a 10% penalty applies for payments received after June 16th. The real estate taxing period is based on the current calendar year (January to December). Unpaid taxes are submitted to tax claim after December 31st, 2023 and will result in additional charges. If your taxes are paid by your mortgage company, it is your responsibility to forward your tax notice to your mortgage company.
